Dear all,

As discuss in the SB meeting last week, we need to submit the following for the MSCA 30th anniversary publication planned by the EC:

(1) A short testimonial (around 150 words) explaining the project’s impact on people’s lives and what it delivers locally/nationally on European or international levels (how citizens can feel the benefits close to their homes, in their region or community).

Here the proposal: "The Quantum-Safe Internet (QSI) project aims to protect everyday digital activities in a future where quantum computers could break current cryptographic methods. Its impact spans multiple levels. Locally, citizens will benefit from stronger security in essential services such as healthcare, banking, and public administration, ensuring personal data remains private and reliable. At the national and European levels, QSI helps governments and industries upgrade critical infrastructure, reducing the risk of cyberattacks and data breaches. It also strengthens technological sovereignty by fostering homegrown expertise in quantum-safe cryptography. Internationally, the project contributes to global efforts to build a safer digital ecosystem. Ultimately, citizens will experience these advances through more secure online transactions, protected communications, and greater confidence that their sensitive information remains safe, both now and in the quantum future."

(2) One short quote (one or two sentences) that captures the project’s main takeaway or key achievement.

Here the proposal: "QSI is laying the foundations for a quantum-safe Internet by combining cutting-edge research in quantum and post-quantum cryptography with the training of experts who will secure tomorrow’s digital world. It aims to ensure Europe’s digital infrastructure remains secure in the quantum era."

(3) A selection of 2-3 excellent-quality photos (with short captions), showing the project in action (people, places, activities, results).

@For those doctoral Candidates interested: Please send me a couple of high-quality pictures with you in action.

Your comments are most welcome! I need to submit this today. If I do not hear from you by 16:00h, I will submit the text above and a selection of the pictures received.

Cheers,
Marcos.
