Dear all, 

Let's catch up😊: 

1. There is a new section on the QSI website called**"QSI Green Chapter"**, following the recommendations of the EC.

2. Those who started in the project before July 2023 (i.e.*Silvia, Alessandro, Matías Rubén, Javier, Vaisakh and Fabrizio*) prepare your **Career Development Plan (CDP) 2 **for the remaining time of the project (use the template, it must be signed by your supervisor) and send it to me before April, 1. 

3. Needless to say that your profile information at the QSI website can be updated any time if you wish. You only need to send me the new information. 

4. The **QSI Workshop **is already published on our website. Please see:  QSI Workshop - QSI https://quantum-safeinternet.com/qsi-workshop/ 

5. **QSI Art Contest. **Gentle reminder. Please do not forget to disseminate this contest as much as possible.
Later on, we will need to include information about what we did for its dissemination in a Deliverable. 

6. **Newsletter**
Again, we will need to prepare a Deliverable about the Newsletters. 
For that we need information about how we disseminated them. So, please: 

- Do not forget to send me this information about the **Newsletter 1** by the end of this month. 

- Please see **below the draft for the second newsletter**. I am looking forward to receiving your comments. We plan to make it public on January, 30.
Also, if you have information about coming PQC events (workshops/conferences) that we could include, please kindly let me know.  

7. **Secondments, **please do not forget to keep me updated about the secondments you do in order to upload the information in the EU portal. 

8. **Reports,** there is a Deliverable about the scientific progress made in the different projects that we must submit this May 2025.
 I will contact you about this in March.

 	 Quantum-safe Internet aims at training twelve Doctoral Candidates capable of taking the next essential steps in the highly demanding area of cybersecurity to protect against quantum threats.

## 2025

## The International Year 

## of Quantum Sciences and Technology (IYQ)!

UNESCO has proclaimed 2025 as the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ) which recognizes 100 years since the initial development of quantum mechanics. The Opening Ceremony will take place at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France, from February 4-5, to celebrate the Launch of IYQ 2025!

This initiative aims to ‘raise public awareness of the importance of quantum science and its applications’. During the whole year and thanks to the experts on this field, the key issues and the impact of quantum science and technology on the development of our society will be explored.

**Technical University of Denmark, May 2025.**

 	 The next QSI event will be the **QSI Workshop. **This is organized by the Technical University of Denmark and it is open to everyone from May 12 -16, 2025.

## Are you an artist?...QSI Art Contest.

 	 **Who can participate? How?**

 * The art Contest is open to anyone who wants to participate.
 	 Submit any art form (poetry, music, design, painting, sculpture, or video) on a scientific subject related to Quantum-Safe Internet. 

 	 All submissions will be shown during the workshop that QSI will celebrate in Denmark from May 12 until May 16, 2025. 

 * The winning works will be exhibited at the 2025 World Expo of Osaka in Japan!
