Dear Doctoral Candidates,
Sorry to bother you again with this.
How are you doing with your "promotional video" of your own? At the moment we have only received one which is already uploaded on the QSI website.
Thank you very much for your attention and collaboration as always.
Have a nice week!
With best regards,
Lorena G. Curra

Asunto: QSI_Promoting Doctoral Candidates (Video).
Dear Doctoral Candidates,
To expand the content of your work on the QSI website, I suggest that you prepare a video between 30 seconds and 2 minutes long. To be able to upload it to the web, it must be a YouTube link.
Some ideas are listed below:
If you decide to be in the video:
Pick a location that you like (garden, classroom, in a well-known spot of your city.. etc)
Tell a little bit about :
1. Your background.
2. Describe the University or Institution where you are doing your PhD.
3. ...and finally talk about your project and how you are progressing.
Make your video look its best, add photos of your travels, images of your work, background music...use your imagination!!
If you're shy and don't want to be in the video, prepare a talk with a powerpoint presentation in which you can be heard.
The idea would be to make a video for the first part of your PhD (years 1 and 2) and a different one once you get closer to the end of your PhD (3 and 4).
These videos will be very useful to differentiate yourself from other candidates in future selection processes.
I am excited to hear from you.
Best regards,
Lorena G. Curra
