[Qsi_drs] QSI Project / Outreach activities.

Dear Doctoral Candidates, 


Now that we are at the beginning of the year and that the project has already started more than a year ago (October 2022), I would like to ask you to keep in mind the promised Outreach Activities that we must upload to the EU portal. I would be very grateful if you could let me know as soon as you do.


**Outreach activities:**

**It is expected that each of you engage in at leastone outreach activity per year. **

**As a guideline:**

**- Outreach activity1 (first year)****:Ideally, this could bee e****ngaging in local public-science events.**

**- Outreach activity 2 (second year)****:**** Science art contest. With the help of localOutreach Officers at each partner, in the second year of study, DoctoralCandidates will give a public talk (e.g.in secondary schools in and around their city of residence), and encourageparticipants to take part in a science art contest that we Will organizedat QSI. Participants should submit, possibly indigital format, any art form (e.g., poetry, music, design, painting, sculpture,and video) on a related scientific subject.**


**- ****Outreach activity 3 (third):**** QSI open day. In conjunction with the QSI conference****, there will be an Open Day, where members of thepublic will be invited to public lectures, given by lead scientists in thefield, demonstrations, and (virtual) laboratory tours based on the QSI’sresearch and industrial partners. **

**Ofcourse, you are encouraged to participate in more outreach activities if youwish. Once an outreach activity is done, please inform us about it.**** **
