## QSI at the Osaka World Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan.
QSI was present at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, as part of the thematic week **‘Peace, Human Security and Dignity’**, held from August 8 to 12, at the EU Pavilion.
The project was represented by the PhD candidates Alessandro Marcomini https://quantum-safeinternet.com/team/alessandro-marcomini/ and Vaisakh Mannalath https://quantum-safeinternet.com/team/vaisakh-mannalath/ from the University of Vigo, alongside the supervisors Alex B. Grilo https://quantum-safeinternet.com/team/alex-bredariol-grilo/ (Sorbonne University, Paris) and Prof. Christian Majenz https://quantum-safeinternet.com/team/christian-majenz/ (Technical University of Denmark). In addition, QSI received support from its partners in Japan, Prof. Kiyoshi Tamaki https://quantum-safeinternet.com/team/kiyoshi-tamaki/ (University of Toyama) and Koji Azuma https://quantum-safeinternet.com/team/koji-azuma/ (NTT).
We offered a scientific program and outreach activities https://quantum-safeinternet.com/qsi-at-the-osaka-world-expo-august-2025-japan-2/ , including:
* **Talks and presentations.**
* **Audiovisual screenings** showcasing the individual projects of the PhD candidates. See here. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCASleSV0SygVxTxdGBvW9UA
* **Interactive workshops and engaging activities.**
## SCIENCE ART CONTEST WINNERS!
Participants were invited to submit works of art in any form, such as poetry, music, design, painting, sculpture or video, focusing on a scientific theme related to Quantum-Safe
Internet. All works were displayed at the QSI workshop held in Denmark, from 12 to 16 May 2025.
The **first prize **was awarded to Margarida Pereira https://vqcc.uvigo.es/team/margarida-pereira/ for her spectacular painting, the description of her artwork is here https://quantum-safeinternet.com/qsi-science-art-contest/ .
The** second prize **went to Diana Cencer https://www.linkedin.com/in/dianagarafova/ for her original and well-crafted video, available here. https://youtu.be/pzDDRZOtaLU?si=_aFSjKA32epdd42e
**Congratulations to both and thank you for participating!**
*The winning works of art were exhibited at *Osaka World Expo 2025, Japan.
## QSI Conference 2026, Paris.
In the spring of 2026, the final event of the MSCA Quantum-Safe Internet project will take place in Paris, organized by the University of Sorbonne. As part of the conference program, the last outreach activity to be carried out by the Doctoral Candidates will also be held.
