 by the EU Project Officer (PO), who <b>has offered us the option of extending the Quantum-Safe Internet project</b> by up to seven months (until April 2027).</span><br>

<b>DCs who started later:</b> the extension would allow DCs who joined the project later than initially planned to reach (or come closer to) the full 36 months of employment within the project, where applicable.</span><br>

<b>DCs who started earlier:</b> the money could be used to extend the contracts of DCs beyond the 36-month limit. During the extension, however, the DCs would not be considered MSCA fellows. This means that it is not mandatory to maintain the same contractual
 conditions as when they were MSCA fellows, although the PO recommends doing so.</span><br>
