We are finalizing location and date for the PQC school. Our proposal is <br>
March 11-15, 2024 in Porto (Nice places on the canaries got toooo <br>
expensive). This is Monday to Friday and we would expect that people <br>
already arrive on Sunday. We cannot move later as RWC is March 25-27 in <br>
Toronto with first affiliated events already in the week before. If <br>
anything, we could move one week earlier but that would move it closer <br>
to the QKD schools.<br>

Porto already has beautiful Spring weather at that time of the year but <br>
is not yet totally overcrowded with tourists. Moreover its airport is <br>
only 30min by metro from the hotels that we have in mind (we have two <br>
offers next to casa di musica, one of them we use twice a year for <br>
another international meeting). Also the beach is just ~20min by bus or <br>
metro from the hotels (or a 5k run).<br>

Should we ask for feedback or just fix these dates? I think right now it <br>
would still be easy to add another day to also accommodate the review. <br>
If we are fine with them, I would go ahead and start contacting speakers <br>
soon, so that we can advertise the school in late October / November. <br>
For the speakers, I would try to cover as much as possible from the <br>
project team, but we should invite someone from lattices, codes, and MQ <br>
(Alex can take cryptanalysis of these but not sure if any of us wants to <br>
cover the constructive side of these in a full lecture).<br>
